Tech Rehearsal for #RedAlert_Cancer today. For my first stage appearance since a school play in 1975, I will:
- use an iPad to control slides, with audio and video
- control 3 multicolour lamps
- give voice to a mole
- try to remember an 8,000 word script
Am I insane???
Since having had radioactive particles fired through my brain, my memory has deteriorated, making it hard to learn my lines for #RedAlert_Cancer. My best solution is a country walk speaking my lines, from memory, or from cue cards, to help embed them in my head.
I love this thread by the fabulous @KolbrunBjort. Ever since I approached her about directing #RedAlert_Cancer last August I’ve felt so happy she said “Yes”. Also delighted when @ROISINSBRYSON joined our team. @ZOOvenues
Can’t wait to see Kol's work on Sandcastles on Aug 4th
@riomatchett @edfringe Pleased that my #RedAlert_Cancer @ZOOvenues - Playground, which will have a BSL interpreter on August 10th, has been included on the Fringe site, but very disappointed that there seem to be ONLY 34 BSL-signed shows. That's less than 1% of the registered shows!!!
