Then there’s the #RedheadedStepchild (#KryptonianAge), likely overlooked but essential as the last piece. If there’s no reward for it, I’m done with sets and shifting to “only buy what you love.”
Since we didn’t get set rewards for the first round of “same day drops” like #AnotherDeathInTheFamily or #KryptonianAge, I’ll assume the same for the Absolute lineup, which could be 4-12 comics long. When we’re talking about a significant financial commitment without a word on rewards—those days are over.
Also, don’t forget to save your $50, all 184 of you so far, for the next Fico Ossio artwork drop! With two more drops after that, we’re locked in each week, so the next 3 should sell at least 184 copies to qualify for reward drops.
Looking back, comic populations hit lows with #HouseOfMystery, and now, a year later, we’re seeing the biggest drop yet as the bull run starts. DC seems to be timing this right, feeding into demand over the next months. Today’s drop is my litmus test for how I’ll move forward collecting.
