Erste Ideen für einen Aktionsplan #Refocusonthefuture für die #Defichain 1) Rückkehr zum freien Markt - Wegfall der DEX-Fee - Wegfall der dynamischen DEX-Fee - Wegfall der Negativzinsen - Wegfall der Rewards für DUSD-Bonds und Aufhebung der Bindung Abweichend von @mrgauel Vorschlag würde ich allerdings den Wegfall in einem Schritt umsetzen, da ein Ende mit Schrecken besser als ein Schrecken ohne Ende ist. 2) Erhöhung der Attraktivität der nativen DEX bei gleichzeitigem Wegfall der Subventionierung Die native DEX ist für Trader äusserst interessant, aber viele Werte haben kaum Liquidität und Neulistings brauchen sehr lange bis ein ausreichendes Volumen aufgebaut wurde. Bisher wurde versucht die Bereitstellung von Liquidität durch permanente Subventionierung mit DFI zu unterstützen. Dies hat nicht wirklich funktioniert, da die Liquidität verschwindet sobald die Renditen sinken – es gibt nur 10 dToken-Pools mit einer Liquidität über 1 Million Auf der anderen Seite wird der risikoarme Einstieg externer Trader durch die extreme Kapitalineffizienz des Vault-Systems und die falsche Bewertung des DUSD quasi unmöglich gemacht: Mit einem USD-Dollar in DFI kann man derzeit nur 0,66 DUSD leihen, die aber nur maximal 0,22 Dollar Wert (DUSD-USDT) sind – den wahren Preis erfahren wir erst nach Realsierung von Punkt 1). Wenn ich als externer in das dToken-Trading einsteigen will, kann ich mit einem automatisierten Vault-ÜberwachungsBOT höchsten 21% meines Kapitals tatsächlich traden – das ist extrem unattraktiv. Lösungsvorschlag: a) Umstellung des Vault-Systems von langsamen und ineffizienten Auktionen auf eine automatische (Teil)Liquidierung von Vaults die unter die Beleihungsgrenze fallen. Senkung der Mindestbeleihung auf 115 Prozent. Diese Umstellung ist zwar sehr sinnvoll, bedarf aber umfangreicher struktureller (programmtechnischer) Veränderungen und ist daher nur mittelfristig umzusetzen. b) Bewertung eines DUSD-Kredits mit dem echten Wert und nicht einem fiktiven Preis von einem Dollar. Dazu muss nur der DEX-Preis des USDT-DUSD-Liquiditätspools als Bezugsgröße festgelegt werden, was aus meiner Sicht als technischer Laie aber keinen großen Aufwand verursachen sollte, da wir diesen Preis ja selbst in der DEX haben und somit eine adhoc-Aktualisierung kein Problem darstellen kann. Mit diesen Maßnahmen wird die Kapitaleffizienz auf 86 Prozent angehoben. Als Übergangslösung bis zur Umstellung des Vaultssystems könnte man erwägen, den DUSD mit einem Abschlag von 35% (Differenz zwischen aktueller Mindestbeleihungsquote von 150% und der angestrebten Quote von 115%) zu bewerten. Im Ergebnis könnte man dann für einen Dollar in DFI 0,66 Dollar in DUSD zu 0,35-35%, also 0,2275,also in Summer rund 3 DUSD per Dollar in DFI ausleihen – damit wäre der Weg über einen Kredit in etwa identisch mit dem direkten Kauf. Die Zinsen sind dann praktisch der Preis für das reduzierte Kursrisiko. c) Nutzung (der DUSD) des Community-Funds zur Bereitstellung einer Basisliquidität für alle Pools über 500000 aber unter 1000000 von bis zu einer Million DUSD/dToken. Damit ist eine permanente Liquidität sichergestellt, auch wenn die „real Yield“s der Pools keine Anleger zu einem Pool-Investment motivieren können. (7 -17 Pools + 5 neue) d) Wegfall aller DFI-block rewards für die DEX und Umstellung auf „freien Markt“ mit „real yield“ - ebenfalls nicht schrittweise sondern sofort 3) Stärkung der Attraktivität des Stakings Die Renditen der Masternodes liegen mittlerweile weit hinter denen von konkurrierenden Chains wie Polkadot oder Solana – Investoren müssen für das höhere Risiko eines Investment in eine Small-Cap-Chain aber angemessen entschädigt werden. Nur wenn die Rendite interessant werden, nehmen Investoren das erhöhte Risiko in Kauf. Die Blockrewards von der DEX (siehe Punkt 2) sollten daher zu 80% für die Erhöhung der Staking-Rewards verwandt werden. 4) Stärkung des Communityfunds Wenn der Communityfund die Basisliquidität für die native DEX zur Verfügung stellen soll, müssen die Mittel entsprechend erhöht werden damit die Förderung der Projekte nicht leidet. Entsprechend sollten 20 % der eingespaarten DEX-Blockrewards zusätzlich in den Community-Fund fließen. 5) Förderung von erfolgversprechenden Projekten auf der DefiMetachain Neue Projekte, die mit dem Launch ihrer Projekttoken mindestens 100 Nutzer haben, könnten für das Listing auf DEXes wie Vanillaswap komplementäre DFI aus dem Community-Fund zur Verfügung gestellt werden, wenn diese dauerhaft gelockt werden. Dadurch würde die Liquidität für neue Projekte erhöht. Das Projekt RADIX hat Entsprechendes bereits umgesetzt.

First Ideas for an Action Plan #Refocusonthefuture for #Defichain 1) Return to the Free Market - Elimination of DEX fees - Elimination of dynamic DEX fees - Elimination of negative interest rates - Elimination of rewards for DUSD bonds and lifting the lock-in Contrary to @mrgauel's suggestion, I would implement the elimination in one step, as an end with terror is better than terror without end. 2) Increase the Attractiveness of the Native DEX while Phasing Out Subsidization The native DEX is extremely interesting for traders, but many assets have little liquidity and new listings take a long time to build up sufficient volume. So far, attempts have been made to support liquidity provision through permanent subsidization with DFI. This has not really worked, as liquidity disappears as soon as returns decrease – there are only 10 dToken pools with liquidity above 1 million. On the other hand, the risk-free entry of external traders is made virtually impossible by the extreme capital inefficiency of the vault system and the incorrect valuation of DUSD. With a USD dollar in DFI, one can currently only borrow 0.66 DUSD, but these are only worth a maximum of 0.22 dollars (DUSD-USDT) – we will only find out the true price after the realization of point 1). If I want to enter dToken trading as an external trader, with an automated vault monitoring BOT, I can trade a maximum of 21% of my capital – this is extremely unattractive. Proposal for a solution: a) Conversion of the vault system from slow and inefficient auctions to automatic (partial) liquidation of vaults falling below the collateralization limit. Reduction of the minimum collateralization to 115 percent. Although this conversion makes sense, it requires extensive structural (programmatic) changes and can therefore only be implemented in the medium term. b) Valuation of a DUSD loan at the real value and not a fictitious price of one dollar. To do this, only the DEX price of the USDT-DUSD liquidity pool needs to be set as the reference, which, in my opinion as a technical layperson, should not cause much effort, since we have this price ourselves in the DEX and thus an ad hoc update should not be a problem. With these measures, capital efficiency is increased to 86 percent. As an interim solution until the conversion of the vault system, one could consider valuing the DUSD with a discount of 35% (difference between the current minimum collateralization ratio of 150% and the target ratio of 115%). As a result, for one dollar in DFI, one could borrow around 3 DUSD per dollar in DFI, so the path through a loan would be roughly identical to the direct purchase. The interest rates are then practically the price for the reduced price risk. c) Use (of the DUSD) of the Community Fund to provide basic liquidity for all pools above 500,000 but below 1,000,000 of up to one million DUSD/dToken. This ensures permanent liquidity, even if the "real yields" of the pools cannot motivate investors to invest in a pool. d) Elimination of all DFI block rewards for the DEX and transition to a "free market" with "real yield" - also not stepwise but immediate. 3) Strengthening the Attractiveness of Staking The returns of the masternodes are now far behind those of competing chains like Polkadot or Solana – investors must be adequately compensated for the higher risk of investing in a small-cap chain. Only if the returns become interesting will investors accept the increased risk. 80 per cent of the block rewards from the DEX (see point 2) should therefore be used to increase the staking rewards. 4) Strengthening the Community Fund If the Community Fund is to provide the basic liquidity for the native DEX, the funds must be increased accordingly so that the promotion of projects does not suffer. Accordingly, 20% of the saved DEX block rewards should flow into the Community Fund. 5) Promotion of Promising Projects on the DefiMetachain New projects that have at least 100 users with the launch of their project tokens could be provided with complementary DFI from the Community Fund for listing on DEXes such as Vanillaswap if they are locked in permanently. This would increase liquidity for new projects. The project RADIX has already implemented something similar.
