#JMPD #RegionD Operations officers, whilst on their way to report on duty, responded to concerns from community members on Chris Hani Road near the UJ Soweto Campus. Concerned residents alerted officers to a crying baby in a nearby bush near Power Park Dam. Upon investigation, a newborn baby was found inside a plastic bag. The officers immediately rushed the baby to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for medical attention. The baby, confirmed to be a baby boy, is currently receiving treatment.

- Taxi Rank: Transport Department developing transport operational plans for various regions, with BRT feasibility studies to follow once plans are complete.
- Implementation Procedures: Council approval required where feasibility studies are conducted, ensuring proper procedures are followed for initiatives.
