The last week has been a rollercoaster. 1 app I co-wrote was awarded an ACE Project Grant, followed by 3 job/opportunity rejections.
1 was via a bcc email to all.
1 was ACE's DYCP "other applicants preferred."
1 came with really useful, specific feedback. 🙃 #RejectBetter
I believe that the @BritishArts's Digital Collaboration Fund rejection email was 8/10, v good.
* Started with "You didn't get this"
* Gave a clear rubric for evaluation and rationale for how they made their decisions.
* Invited to a webinar for general feedback.

Charging applicants for feedback is not acceptable in anyway. This kind of approach continues the pattern that you only get ahead in the arts if you can pay. #RejectBetter
