An uplifting day spent yesterday with the Tigers team, listening to work of the speakers who are coming to Scotland for The Biology of Belonging Conf. We reflected in small group and full group discussions abt how the insights can support our practice.

The use of #Kitbag has been so beneficial for our young people, helping them to find a language that expressrs how they are feeling & to describe their progress.

Our trainer Martin has been using #kitbag with his @SouthLanCouncil group to encourage them to talk about their feelings and share their thoughts.
He asked them to pick a card to describe their progress on the course and how they felt about their future𧑠#Purpose #Success

As we near the end of the SSCYP FA Iβve been out observing loads of YP helping children express emotionsπ₯°itβs such a busy time of year, not only for us but for nurseries/schools/exams, so getting time to observe practice is great. Iβm ever so proud of themπ« #InspiringPotential
βSome people think if you talk about emotions, then chaos reigns. Thatβs a good defence against getting curious about what science tells us about the importance of relationships where you feel emotionally heard and safe.β

A Monday morning walk helps the transition back from the weekend and allows time for trainees to reconnect with each other and with their trainer.
