Proving bias is near impossible because the juror(s) must self-diagnose and admit bias. #Remmer is the only remedy to misconduct of a court official and ensure the 6A right to an impartial jury.
@SetonTucker Agree with your dad that all is extraneous other than the violation of Murdaugh’s 6th Amendment rights by Hill. That is what ultimately will get him a new trial. Egg juror does not matter in this appeal despite what some might say. #Remmer

@silverwood111 @crimeandcask Exactly. I said before that a lot of these #Murdaugh jurors were probably like Mandy (Juror Z) and didn’t realize they’d been manipulated until after the verdict was rendered. That’s why #Remmer says any improper contact by a court official is prejudicial.
@TheEricBland None of this matters. A court official had improper contact with jurors during a trial. This contact was not procedural as it was in Green-several jurors testified she instructed them to watch #Murdaugh closely and pay attention to body language-Toal put that on record. #Remmer
