That's nice. We didn't spend the last several years asking you to rename 700 Lincoln, though. We've been demanding you #RenameTheStrom and #RenameSims, and we're still demanding it. Don't think we're fooled by this little misdirection.

The Presidential Commission on University History is meeting right now. They said they plan to get their final report, which includes actions regarding university history at USC, to interim president Harris Pastides by July 15.

The commitment to #renameSims was in June 2020. There has been no name selected, despite several suggestions. There have been no other buildings selected for renaming, despite calls for Strom, Wade Hampton + more to be added. @uofsc is ignoring the Gamecock community.
