@mikemaher_cards @heatersrepack I did one of your heaters repack breaks. We went back and forth about why I think they are scams and need a checklist so people have a clue what they are potentially going to get. I figured to be fait I should try one and see. Lets call it the side effect of a few drinks in a pool :-)
Here is what it produced. I did the research so others don't have to. It is not good. In the end, repacks are basically just taking advantage of people. I don't dispute there are some good cards in here, but the cost vs. value returned is horrible. Maybe I bought into a bad batch, who knows. But here it is for everyone to see.
First, you sold 30 teams at about $200 each - some more, some less. You complained the entire time how you were losing so much money on this break and these were basically free. You took in, conservatively, $5500 - $6000. You actually did pretty OK on this. I didn't account for platform fees or product costs, but I am sure it still left you enough $ for the day.
These are the cards that came out of the 10 repacks in the break, and the values of them - Totaled $3140. You can dispute the values, but these are ebay / 130.point comps. I trust them, the evidence is below if you want to flame me about it.
You 100% had a few great cards in here. And I may have the Vlad value wrong (was tough to see what the card was specifically). but overall the cards were not good, and some were just terrible.
To anyone claiming repacks are a great deal, and good for the participants, it's a load of crap. And you claim Heaters are the best repacks, hands down. So imagine how terrible the rest of this scam product is.
We won't discuss that 20 people skunked completely and got nothing. The Good results were that 3 people got junk, 4 people broke even, 1 did good, 2 did well.
