@mirrutatep Most of the AI pixel art progress is happening with #retrodiffusion currently. I don't hope for regular pixel artist to be replaced either, but the tools have improved a lot in a year. It is just in different circles and communities.

I put out a small update to #RetroDiffusion with version 12.6.0!
Only one feature in this update, but users are absolutely loving it. Color Style Transfer lets you convert images to new color palettes, but it respects the color histograms, leading to waaaay better results!

This is running on Windows, with a 3090, 512x512 (64x64 pixel art) image.

That weapon model for #RetroDiffusion I showed off in the last post also makes a seriously cool muted color industrial style model at lower weights.
Especially love the "military mech standing in a burning field"
Another awesome modifier model in the works by @nerijs for #RetroDiffusion!
This model is (hopefully) going to be paired with a sister model for making melee-style weapons :)
Some WIP of the "UI Panel" modifier model for #RetroDiffusion! It works pretty well so far, could be a little more clean, but you can combo it with the style modifiers to get the look you want :)

Calling it "Simple Geometric" since it favors angled and straight lines pretty heavily
Texture preview tool combo'd with #RetroDiffusion's upcoming texture material generation.
It's sooooo fast, and thats running on CPU.
Some more textures- now with depth map normalization (way easier to see what it does).
Really happy with how it handles multi-res without needing to use a separate sprite. Can even use it for animated textures.
