Dear #Revutonians, I hope you're having a lovely summer. Besides the pretty hot weather across the EU, which is perfect for chilling and relaxing, the #Crypto market is also getting hot again. Everything is happening as predicted, and I hope you're all ready for the end of the year when #BTC should start playing with that crazy $100K mark. Whenever that happens, and it will happen sooner or later, that's when the fun for altoins will start.
More importantly, @get_revuto has a lot of work to do to prepare us for the above. Last week, we spent most of our time working on the non-custodial wallet, which was not planned and for which I owe you an explanation. Maybe you remember when we said we finally have all the devs in-house. That happened on July 1st when we onboarded two new front-end devs to work directly for us because we got rid of the previous devs hired via an agency. The last app update was v3.4.2, which included the last updates from the previous dev team, and they messed it up. They were supposed to optimize the wallet performance, but things got worse. Now, the new team is fixing the problem. We expect the first improvements to be in production tomorrow, but the whole week will be spent updating the wallet. That's why we also prolonged the subscription period for the @nike_hoskinson staking until this Friday. The change will allow staking $REVU for $NIKE to all those who could not stake because of the wallet issues. Also, these updates were mandatory for the token swap feature coming to our non-custodial wallet in a few days.
Following the wallet updates, the plan is to (finally) launch the e-voucher feature in Spain sometime in mid-August. During the testing period and while waiting for our partner to update their terminals to support #Revuto, we spoke with several companies interested in offering the same product across the EU. If all goes well with the launch in Spain, the product should be available at more locations by the end of the year. Soon, I'll write a dedicated post about the product, including the marketing strategy.
Now, about the most important part of our ecosystem—the Debit Card Program. On Friday, we onboarded our proposal to launch the Mastercard Debit Card Program supporting #Cardano (CNTs) with IdeaCatalyst. The onboarding process included submitting milestones, which was a bit tricky because the base setup predicts six monthly milestones compared to three, which we described in our initial proposal. This is important because we plan to launch the product much sooner than six months, putting us in the perfect position to capitalize on the next crypto craze. We explained our plans to the Catalyst Team, and luckily, today, we received a message that we can complete milestones according to our initial plan and get funding for it. The scheduled start date of our proposal is Aug 12, 2024, and that's when we expect to get the first tranche of 380K ADA to help us launch the product. Despite a complicated process, I can't emphasize enough how delighted we were by votes from the community, which will help us launch the product more easily. Once we receive the first tranche, we'll announce the expected launch date for the Debit Card Product (app update v4) and the beta testing, coming about 45 days earlier.
In addition to the above, the team is working on the custodial wallet that will support the top 15 cryptocurrencies, including $ADA and $REVU. Besides opening a much bigger addressable market, a custodial wallet will drastically improve our Staking Center capabilities (offering), expand integration with Banxa to allow users to easily purchase all supported assets, allow instant Debit Card top-ups, token sending between Revuto users, and tokens swaps. Still, the most important feature will be cross-chain token swaps, allowing users to easily swap non-Cardano assets from the custodial wallet for CNTs in the custodial wallet and vice versa. The cross-chain swap feature should help many crypto users enter Cardano without much hassle.
Still, all those products scheduled to launch in 2024 are just the beginning because other essential #Web3 products will be coming to Revuto in early 2025. "Stake to Subscribe", "Buy Now, Pay Later", and Subscription NFTs are unique products built specifically to help people save and earn money on their subscriptions. With such a diverse and unique set of products, Revuto will be ready to stay relevant beyond 2025., when many crypto projects without fundamentals and a real-world use case could cease to exist.

Our team is upgrading the backend infrastructure for the new and improved wallet GUI, which is affecting the present wallet user experience. Dear #Revutonians, the latest #Revuto mobile app update, v. 3.4.2. is available for download. It may take up to 24 hours for some stores in specific countries to propagate, so be patient. The update brings minor bug fixes and UI improvements, with a list of bigger changes outlined below.
UI Enhancements:
• The "Create a Voucher" box is now blue
• Main Navigation shows banner count and auto-changes every 3 seconds
• Reorganized AW Earn navigation: moved "Create a Voucher"
• Staking Center: replaced "More Info" with a standard info button
• Voucher Code input separates digits into groups of four
Notification Center:
• Fixed issue with notifications not opening if the app was quit
Modals and Loading Improvements:
• Switched to design-based confirmation modals
• Fixed initial loading issue for subscriptions and statistics
• Reintroduction of forcing the latest app update with a new "Terms Of Use" acceptance (Linkcy/Paynovate) for the Mastercard debit card program for the EEA and UK users.
Analytics
• Corrected EUR and USD calculation errors in Analytic Expenses

The next major app update is v. 3.5, which brings token swaps on the non-custodial wallet (+ the first R token integration), a completely new KYC verification status overview with the upgrade flow, and an option to unlock Revuto Pro from the app. The update is expected to launch in late July or early August. The release will be backed by marketing push and announcements.
*** E-vouchers are being tested at two locations as we speak and are scheduled to go out at 200 terminals across Spain in mid-August (aiming at August 16th).
🔥 v.4.0, a major update supporting debit cards, is scheduled for September, when we plan a big marketing push. In the meantime, we'll make v4 available for Beta testing.
