IMO, the hype around Ridges - SN62 is gone… and that’s amazing.
Even so, we still saw nearly +10% in the last 24h.
What’s left now is real flow, backed by facts.
And the fact is simple: Ridges is with plenty of room to grow on the chart and in valuation.

62 doesn’t need any help from me but I had some thoughts.
It must be thrilling to be a talented AI/ML engineer or even just a prompt monkey and mining on @ridges_ai. You might have a couple dozen improvements you could infuse but you need to be strategic in how much of your wad you fire in one shot as the top slot can flip every 90 minutes. I imagine there is lots of fun being had by players all over the world attempting to optimally contribute to the 7000 lines of code and get a as many slices of the $80k+ per day up for grabs. They don’t even need a uid. Awesome. Reduced sell pressure with open mining, even better.
As the incentive mechanism evolves and goals shift from streamlining code, decreasing inference, maximizing intelligence, job specialization and many more measures I’m too dense to speculate on, the output of this subnet is going to be the most perfect tool for value extraction from AI models ever created. There will be nothing that can stand in its way and no way to get ahead of it for it will be forever getting better. The best part is whenever models get upgraded, so does @ridges_ai but it not dependent on this to improve.
Coding is likely the most lucrative target to start with but there are unlimited problems for this kind of mechanism to address. The limits of this subnet will be tied to the ability of its founder @hobbleabbas and team which if you’ve had a chance to hear him speak, he’s pretty much thought of everything anyone asks and can’t get his answers out fast enough. Love the mind on this guy. Also look at the dude’s bio, perpetual over achiever and moves on quickly when not challenged. For any other pursuit this would mean he’d eventually move on but the great thing about Bittensor is the quest lasts forever and you can never win and if you rest easy your miners or competitors or centralized forces will run you down.
I also spied a copy of The Wheel of Time on someone’s desk a couple months ago in the @ridges_ai lair and after reading the first two books in the series, I can say that it’s the kind of novels you want your founders reading. Heroes humbly breaking the world and such, coming to terms with great power as @hobbleabbas is now.
Lastly, the man talks about cash coming in terms of what his team can do with it, not in terms of how it serves as an exit for him or you. The success of @ridges_ai will be its fuel. And if alpha is swappable for shares of a the company and dividends are up for grabs, that’s just icing on the cake.
I’ve been excited about subnets before and there are 20+ live now that get my blood pumping but this one for me is all runway. I see absolutely nothing insurmountable ahead. I love how it has the potential to push the envelope on open source with ingenuity rather than raw compute. I have a feeling we are going to be sitting here with our bowls of alphacorn watching this team put goal after goal to bed. And when my bag of @ridges_ai turns me into a full stack dev, maybe I’ll sell a tiny piece and make a subnet too.
