✅ Today, Georgia’s strategic transit infrastructure received a major upgrade: the 27 km four-lane Rikoti highway section was opened by the Prime Minister, reducing the total East-West travel time by half hour. ✅ After the conclusion of this large scale project, over 50 tunnels and around 100 bridges will be built - an astounding number for Georgia. For comparison, only 45 tunnels were in operation before Rikoti highway construction began. ✅ Nearly 200 km of highway has been built under the Georgian Dream government, fundamentally upgrading Georgia’s transport and communication infrastructure. 🇬🇪🇪🇺These projects are essential to unlocking our country's full strategic potential.
