In #EUCO conclusions, there is no direct linkage between RoL & the EU's #financialinterests. Yet it is agreed to introduce #RoLconditionality which will require a Qualified Majority instead of #unanimity. This may challenge the solidarity among the #authoritarian EU countries.
Perhaps @Europarl_EN could extend its protective political shield over #RuleofLaw as well and announce that without an effective #RoLConditionality the #EP refuses its consent for the #MFF, just like in case of the own resources.
