We agree with Angela Davis on prison abolition, that’s material fact. The cage must be destroyed, not reformed. But don’t get it twisted. After her trial she was absorbed into the liberal wing of the status quo. Past struggle doesn’t erase present incorporation

On 10/31, members of @BLMLA & the @freeruchellnow coalition gathered with the community and family of #RuchellCinqueMagee to pay respects at the memorial service for the freedom fighter and longest serving political prisoner held in the U.S. for 67 years. During the service, many shared on the moments they had with Ruchell and learning about his survival of the Marin County Uprising of 1970. Whether he was on the inside or outside of the walls of incarceration, he held a grand Spirit and sharp sense of humor. Most of all, his love for Black people and his efforts toward our liberation is a sacrifice that will never be taken for granted. #LongLiveRuchellMagee #BlackLivesMatter

@BlakeDontCrack Truth be told she “sold out” even way back in the 70s when she separated herself from her then co-defendant #RuchellCinqueMagee (sole survivor of Marin kourthouse Rebellion) & he’s been locked ever since to this day! #FreeRuchellMagee #FreeEmAll #BlackAugustResistance

Angela Davis recent endorsement of joe Biden surprised some but if you analyzed her history, you would know that her co-defendant #RuchellCinqueMagee was not acquitted with her & she hasn’t support the efforts to free him so plz don’t put her & Assata in same category! #FreeEmAll

Many praise Dr. Angela Davis without a thought of the impact of her “cause celebre” had on political prisoner #RuchellCinqueMagee also FYI she was NEVER a member of The Black Panther Party. As Malcolm says “history is best qualified to reward all research” #FreeCinque #FreeEmAll
