#RussiaWatch🇷🇺: Russia's bank-produced money (M2-M0) is SURGING at 22.2%/yr. This growth in bank money is the MAIN CONTRIBUTOR to Russia's inflation (10.3%/yr). To slow the excessive growth rate in Russia's money supply growth, Gov. Nabiullina needs to HIKE the ruble reserve req. from 3% to 10% & the key interest rate from 21% to 25%.

RF barley goes up along with “big wheat brother,” touching 190 $/t as a new resistance level. UA origin (11.5%) is trading at 220-225 $/t and seeing strong demand for 2Q (April wheat export has surged to nearly 2 MMT, and May shipments may exceed 1.5 MMT). UA corn is getting closer to 200 $/t level, seen last time in early Dec 23. Further evaluation of RF crop damage may put wheat spot prices above 250 $/t, taking into account unexpectedly positive USDA forecasts for EU wheat.
