Another #Monsoon2025 Depression likely to form in Bay around 9th Sep.

As forecasted 2 weeks ago, Vortex that formed over north #Konkan yesterday now lies over south #Saurashtra adjoining north #ArabianSea, has deepened into a #Depression of 999 hPa and winds 45-50kmph.
Monsoon Axis passes south of normal position - thru this system, across core zone and thru LPA (remnants of Bay Depression) over east India.
Info on #Monsoon2025 revival across Monsoon Core Zone by mid August
A fresh low pressure area will form over NW Bay on 13th August, kickstarting revival process. This will be followed by a strong #MISO thru phases 1-3, which shud trigger back to back LPAs in last 2 weeks of August.
Environmental forecasts further indicate an active #MJO coupled with Rossby waves during these same 2 weeks which will also break Arabian Sea suppression. With all factors highly favorable, LPAs crossing the MCZ likely to maintain their intensity as they travel westwards, leading to a very wet last fortnight of August along their path!
Additionally, north Arabian Sea region off Maharashtra/Gujarat coast is likely to host a Deep monsoon low /Depression with origins in Bay, traversing westwards. Need to keep watch on potential vortex too as a result of this.
Interesting weeks ahead! As this is still preliminary, further details closer to the time.
