The Bill To Bring Back Ruga From The Back Door Has Been Allegedly Passed In Enugu State Information getting to us states that the Enugu state government has passed a cattle ranching bill into law. This bill was quickly passed in one day. The bill said that land would be acquired by the government for cattle ranching. There are some questions we need to ask ourselves so that we can understand what game the Enugu state government is playing. And those questions are. Have you seen a situation where the government is acquiring land for the personal business of people? How many Igbo people are into cattle rearing? What is the interest of the Enugu state government in cattle rearing that they want to acquire lands for cattle rearers? Who are these cattle rearers? Fulani's of course. Is this a way of bringing back Ruga or grassing reserves through the back door? What is actually happening? There are many businesses Ndi Igbo are into, but the government of Enugu state did not care to do anything about businesses that have a direct impact on Ndi Igbo. Our people engage in palm plantations. They have a plantain plantation. The government did not pass a bill for these things, but they hurriedly did one for Cattle. Ndi Igbo who are into business have been the ones buying lands and building markets. The government doesn't do that for them. But here Enugu state governor wants to buy lands for cattle ranching with the money of Enugu state people for Cattle rearers who are mostly Fulani people. Have you seen these governors acquire lands for housing to alleviate the suffering of Ndi Igbo? I hope we are not ignorant of how Fulani people became indigenes of Benue State. They were given those lands by naive Tiv people and today those Fulani people are indigenes of Benue. They have battled the Benue people and slaughtered thousands of them. Till today they are still fighting and these Fulani people now have Emirs and representatives in the government. I am seeing Fulani people becoming indigenes of Enugu state in the next 20 years if something is not done urgently and Governor Peter MBA will facilitate this. He will use the power of his office to buy lands bigger than communities in Enugu state and hand it over to the Fulani people. Some community leaders and Ndi Eze will be part of this plan. They will be heavily bribed to not only keep quiet but to justify this as the only way to secure everlasting peace. Ndi Igbo have never gone to the North to slaughter Northerners, then why are the Fulani people doing it in Igbo land with our leaders pampering them? I have said it before and I am saying it again. What the Enugu state governor is doing is actually called paying dues. The Fulani oligarchs were the ones that gave him power in Enugu state and not the people. In fact, the Fulani stole the power from the people and handed it over to him. There are some conditions for giving him the position as we know that Fulani doesn't give you a gift without nothing being attached to it. For some of you who will ask how the Fulani rigged him in when he contested with the APC candidate, know that they played games on you people. It will cause more problems should they rig out the Labour Party and bring in APC than it will should they give it to the PDP. So they simply bargained with the PDP candidate and they anointed him. So today even as PDP he is working like an APC governor. In all states in the South East, Enugu is the easiest place to start the ranching stuff. This is because of their proximity to the North. Nnia Nwodo, the former Ohaneze president once bragged about how their fathers and grandfathers worked and lived with Fulańi. That's why he said before you can kíll a Fulani man, kíll him first. That's Fulani people that have been slâughtering his people. So, I am trying to say that there is this relaxed mindset in some of the Enugu state indigenes, especially their politicians and those who share boundaries with the North.
