Apparently the recent extreme peak in the severity of my pudendal/Illioinguinal pain is no fluke and is not a one time occurrence. It is starting again, but I am trying to stay open to alternatives, not focusing on #SD2P as I nearly did only a short time ago. I notice a reminder from my Urologist’s office that it is time to do my nerve blocks again. I am concentrating on focusing all my determination into staying to see if the nerve blocks turn the clock back a little for me. There is no harm in trying, and I also noticed my plans for who would take care of Bella had some holes in it. I need to use this time to plug those holes. The last time I had the nerve blocks they really helped to close the gap between the #OpioidRxs actually needed to control my chronic, severe or intractable pain just enough to let me be minimally functional and the amount of #OpioidRxs my doctor in fear of losing his practice due to harassment from the #DEA, #PROP, & #CDC actually Rx’s for me. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a condition for which a doctor can treat you based on what is needed to help you function and survive as opposed to Rxing meds for you based on what the #DEA, #CDC & #PROP (none of whom except your doctor want you to survive much less be functional) dictate to him or her.

I am trying, Sherry. I keep remembering all those who were forced to take the #SD2P path before me. They were better people than I am, but our system not only turned its back on them, it abandoned them while rewarding those who tortured them for their own profit. I should try not to dwell on those injustices so much because I truly believe those who think they are torturing and killing pain patients with immunity will instead pay dearly for every life they ruined or ended.

It is what happens when government and private organizations are allowed to impose a system which mandates the under treatment or denial of palliative care for #ChronicSevereorIntractablePain. The inescapable #SuicideDue2Pain, #SD2P is far too often the result, but there are an elite few (or so they consider themselves) who think that those who are forced to commit #SD2P only help to increase the profits of those who delight in tormenting pain patients.
