Dr. Anupama Nilekar Chandra, IPS, #SDGSSB, visited the Indo–Bhutan Border (#IBB) Gate under #BOP Bhairabkunda of 23 Bn and the 23 Bn HQ Lalpool, Assam.
She reviewed the functioning of the border gate along the Indo–Bhutan Border and issued operational directives.
She also interacted with field commanders, BIT personnel of #SSB, Bhutanese counterparts as well as local authorities, exchanged greetings and pleasantries with officers of the Royal Bhutan Police and local authorities.

Dr. Chandra, #SDGSSB reviewed India–Nepal border security arrangements and assessed preparedness for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections. She addressed #SainikSammelans at both BOPs, interacted with jawans, listened to their grievances, and briefed them on various welfare initiatives of the #Force. She also inspected the Bhittamore Check Post, reviewed operational equipments and interacted with male and female personnel on duty. Later, she held a coordination meeting with the District Magistrate & Superintendent of Police, Sitamarhi and SP, 9th Bn, #APF, Mahottari (Nepal) to strengthen cross-border coordination and ensure effective election security.
