Last week our therapists presented at the Kenya Ear Nose and Throat Society Conference @KenyaENT1 about swallowing disorders and their management.
It was great to have the opportunity to speak at the conference and raise awareness of #dysphagia.

We have been running training for nurses about speech & swallowing in people with tracheostomies (see image below). It's been great to discuss the reasons for a cuff, deflation procedures and speaking valves to name a few.
