Dancing Raisins experiment! We had fun watching the raisins dancing around in the cup. @StMargarets_ #SMAScience
Today we did an experiment using skittles and water. We discussed what might happen. The children said it would melt and turn into a rainbow. We placed the skittles around the plate and then added warm water. We loved watching the colours mix together! @StMargarets_ #SMAScience
We had a lovely surprise this morning! One of the bean plants we sent home has come back in a new pot with lots of soil. It has had water and light and is now beginning to grow leaves. We love it when children continue their learning at home. Well done! @StMargarets_ #SMAscience
This afternoon we have been dissecting seeds! We firstly removed the seed coat and explored how the seed looked. We then split the seed in half where we discovered the baby plant. We learned that the food store provides the food for the first few weeks!
