All rumours about him being misogynistic were either fabricated or the result of a twisted narrative, and they have been not only debunked, but one of the accounts even came forward and admitted to fabricating everything for clout. Now, let's talk about what really went down with those wreaths; it was not female solidarity towards something beneficial for women rights, it was a consumer temper tantrum. If we want to get political like you suggested with this, then this incident is symptomatic of late stage capitalism: the person is only viewed as a product, and when a product is damaged or defective, what happens to it? It gets thrown out. This is what Seunghan was to them, damaged goods, a product that could no longer provide them with the parasocial illusion they are willing to pay for. If you want to make political or social commentary, then ask yourself: why consumerism has reached this point, where people think they can own other people because of a mere transcation? Why are teenagers becoming progressively more involved in parasocial relationships rather than engaging in real-life meaningful relationships? Cause these are the issues at hand. If you can't provide evidence of a deeper understanding of a topic, if you can't do your due diligence as a journalist and research the said topic, then please don't speak about it.
