The alarmingly high rates of sexual violence in Kenya affect a bigger portion of the population, primarily women and children. To address this pressing issue, it is imperative for @InteriorKE to establish a specialized Sex Crimes Unit within the police service.

Section 5 of the Sexual Offences Act highlights more on Compelled or induced indecent acts
A person is guilty of an offence of compelled or induced indecent acts is liable upon conviction to imprisonment for a term which shall not less than 5 years.

Any person who unlawfully manipulates any of his or her body or the body of another person so as to cause penetration of the genital organ into or by any part of the other person's body, is guilty of an offence termed sexual assault.

Section 4 of the Sexual Offences Act highlights Attempted Rape.
Any person who attempts to unlawfully and intentionally commit an act which causes penetration with his or her genital organs is guilty of the offence of attempted rape.
