தமிழ் திரைப்பட நடப்பு தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் சங்கம் (TFAPA), தென்னிந்திய திரைப்பட எழுத்தாளர்கள் சங்கம் (SWAN) 2026–2029 காலத்திற்காக புதிதாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட நிர்வாகிகள் மற்றும் செயற்குழு உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு தனது மனமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறது.

மேலும், இக்காலகட்டத்தில் சங்கத்தின் பொறுப்பை ஏற்கத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட 12 செயற்குழு உறுப்பினர்களுக்கும் எங்களது உளமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.
திரைப்பட எழுத்தாளர்களே திரைப்படத்தின் அடித்தளம். ஒரு திரைப்படத்தின் வெற்றி அதன் எழுத்தின் வலிமையைச் சார்ந்துள்ளது. சிறந்த கதைகள், திரைக்கதைகள் மற்றும் வசனங்களே தரமான திரைப்படங்களை உருவாக்குகின்றன. தற்போது தமிழ் திரைப்படத் துறை குறிப்பிடத்தக்க மாற்றங்களைச் சந்தித்து வரும் இந்நேரத்தில், திரைப்பட எழுத்தாளர்களை ஊக்குவித்து, அவர்களை அங்கீகரித்து, அவர்களின் படைப்பாற்றலுக்கு உரிய மதிப்பளிப்பது மிகவும் அவசியமான ஒன்றாகும்.

திரைப்பட எழுத்தாளர்களே திரைப்படத்தின் அடித்தளம். ஒரு திரைப்படத்தின் வெற்றி அதன் எழுத்தின் வலிமையைச் சார்ந்துள்ளது. சிறந்த கதைகள், திரைக்கதைகள் மற்றும் வசனங்களே தரமான திரைப்படங்களை உருவாக்குகின்றன. தற்போது தமிழ் திரைப்படத் துறை குறிப்பிடத்தக்க மாற்றங்களைச் சந்தித்து வரும் இந்நேரத்தில், திரைப்பட எழுத்தாளர்களை ஊக்குவித்து, அவர்களை அங்கீகரித்து, அவர்களின் படைப்பாற்றலுக்கு உரிய மதிப்பளிப்பது மிகவும் அவசியமான ஒன்றாகும்.

இந்திய திரையுலகின் திரைக்கதை மன்னன், பிரபல இயக்குநர், நடிகர், எழுத்தாளர் திரு. கே. பாக்யராஜ் அவர்கள் இன்று திடீரென காலமான செய்தி தமிழ் திரைப்பட நடப்பு தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் சங்கத்தின் (TFAPA) நிர்வாகிகள் மற்றும் உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு பேரதிர்ச்சியையும் ஆழ்ந்த வருத்தத்தையும் அளித்துள்ளது.

இந்திய திரையுலகில் 'திரைக்கதை மன்னன்' என்று போற்றப்பட்ட திரு. கே. பாக்யராஜ் அவர்கள், பல மொழிகளில் மறுஉருவாக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டு வரலாறு படைத்த எண்ணற்ற திரைக்கதைகளை எழுதியவர். எழுத்தாளர், இயக்குநர், நடிகர், கதையாசிரியர் எனப் பல பரிமாணங்களில் திகழ்ந்த அவர், தனது ஒப்பற்ற படைப்பாற்றல், நகைச்சுவை உணர்வு மற்றும் மனித உணர்வுகளை ஆழமாகப் புரிந்துகொள்ளும் திறன் மூலம் திரைக்கதை எழுதும் கலையை புதிய உயரத்திற்கு கொண்டு சென்றார்.

Office Bearers and Members of Tamil Film Active Producers Association (TFAPA) are deeply shocked and grieved to learn the sudden passing away of Indian’s Screenplay King, Popular Director and Actor, Shri K. Bhagyaraj today, a true legend whose extraordinary contribution to Indian cinema will remain timeless.
Known as ‘Screenplay King’ in Indian Cinema, Shri K. Bhagyaraj has written many screenplays that have travelled across languages through remakes and made history. As a writer, director, actor, and storyteller, Shri K. Bhagyaraj redefined screenplay writing with his unmatched creativity, wit, and deep understanding of human emotions. His films entertained generations while inspiring countless filmmakers and screenwriters to look at storytelling through a fresh and intelligent lens. His unique ability to transform simple, everyday moments into unforgettable cinematic experiences earned him a permanent place in the hearts of audiences for many decades.
His screenplays for films Niram Maaratha Pookkal, Puthiya Vaarpugal, Kanni Paruvathile, Oru Kai Osai, Mouna Geethangal, Indru Poi Nalai Vaa, Vidiyum Varai Kathiru, Andha 7 Naatkal, Thooral Ninnu Pochu, Darling Darling Darling, Mundhanai Mudichu, Dhavani Kanavugal, Oru Kaidhiyin Dairy, Chinna Veedu, Enga Chinna Rasa, Idhu Namma Aalu, Sundara Kandam, Rasukutty, Veetile Visheshanga, Parijatham, Chokka Thangam will remain iconic in Tamil Cinema. As a Filmmaker and Actor, he excelled in many of these films.
Shri K. Bhagyaraj was a winner of many Filmfare Awards and Cinema Express awards as the Best Screenplay Writer and Actor.
His passing is an irreparable loss to Tamil cinema and the Indian film fraternity. Though the legend is no longer with us, his stories, characters, and cinematic legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
