Formalmente ayer sábado 30/05/2026 en Araya culminamos nuestra implementación humanitaria en el marco de la alerta #StartFund para mitigar el impacto de la contingencia hídrica. Durante 45 días pudimos atender a pobladores de Araya, Guamache, Manicuare, Meríto, Salazar, Brea, Punta Colorada y El Rincón. 600 jefes de hogar recibieron cesta de alimentos (3120 personas beneficiadas), 905 personas (90% mayores de 60 años) recibieron atención médica y medicinas (39% fueron visitas domiciliarias), 49 personas recibieron dispositivos de asistencia (andaderas, sillas de ruedas, bastones, colchones antiescaras). 179 personas fueron valoradas visualmente y 131 de ellas recibieron lentes ajustados a sus necesidades. Se hizo donativo de equipos, medicinas y material descartable al hospital Virgen del Valle de Araya. Este soporte fue gracias al apoyo de @StartNetwork
Toutefois, selon lui, grâce à l’appui financier de #Startfund, @WVBurundi, à travers le consortium dont il assure le lead (@Tearfund et @HelpChannelBdi) est en train d’assister une bonne partie des réfugiés en distribuant des articles non-alimentaires.

In #Manipur, lightning is not just a hazard. It’s a silent, rising threat to local communities.
With support from #StartFund @StartNetwork and @PrdaManipur1988 we organised a #Lightning Awareness Session for the internally displaced communities, focused on demystifying lightning risks and building local preparedness.
The session was led by Col. Prof. Sanjay Srivastava @sanjaysonisa India’s foremost lightning expert, whose work has shaped national early warning systems and community resilience strategies across the country.
