Interlude, The Glitched Realm:
#Stasia wanders the realm, alone...
Here time does not function or pass. Things can be consumed, touched and interacted with, but everything sort of, materializes back to how it was in its state.
If wind was blowing, it does not stop blowing. If it rains, it has always been raining. Where water flows, it is a natural ebb and weave, an instinct of the water, unchanged through erosion or other natural forces. These occurrences happen wherever they are happening, and do not relent. It is very much a static world, with the exception of Stasia, and #Aeloria, who is now gone.
This place has several biomes, each of which phase gradually into the next. Stasia observes her surroundings as she strolls through them.
The City- a remnant of the old human world, the cafe is mostly normal, but other buildings, stores, and houses are glitched, in a fractured existence.
The Plain- as the name suggests, this area consists of nothingness, only open, blank space. It is thought by Stasia, that if a human stood in the middle, they would soon be insane.
The Foundry- this place, more than any, is saturated with ^errors%. Instances where time and space cannot decide how to exist. Steam engines segmented into arc reactors, fusion cells, with magic crystals pierced through. Laser blades with ornate metallic hilts, elven bows, old world pistols, repulsion guns. Dead mechanical robots and synthetic human bodies. Cryo-chambers, Vats, and screens with virtual digital inferences of what could have been AI at (its?) time. Test tubes and dishes with cells containing specific genes, once and still long desired by humans. Any and all forms that were or could be, technologically, exist here in this lifeless-timeless-limbo sort of state.
Stasia walks to the next biome: The Elven Kingdom, this is usually where she ends up when she feels lost and alone. It is the largest, and most elegant of all the biomes. Here there are the least glitches, this could be because the girls materialized here first, after being _there_. It could also be because this realm was created by Stasia and Aeloria on pure instinct. Maybe it comes directly from their DNA? Hard to say.
As Stasia stands in the middle of the palace, she wonders if Elven ancestors can feel her presence here. Technically, they wouldn't be 'her' ancestors- She was created by the humans _there_. She wonders why she feels connected to this place. The Palace... polished granite floors, glasswork and arches, trees outside, majestic fountains, architectural masterpieces humans could only dream of creating- even in the peak of their technological prowess.
The cybernetic mosaic scales, shift around her body, churning as her thoughts do.
"What do I do now?", Stasia looks up into the depths of the palace's ceilings, "If I go back _there_, surely the humans will try to kill me."
She presses her arms to her chest and lets out a long deep sigh.
"Hmmm... What if I go somewhere else? What if I go _home_?"
#Stasia sighs- "where did #Aeloria go?.. this realm might be safe, but it sure is solitary.. I wonder what would happen if I went back _there_?"
She delicately sips at the coffee, posturing herself.
She sets down the cup, which clinks on the saucer as it meets the counter. Glancing around the room of the cafe, she observes its design- neon signs, a mock stone (actually synthetic) counter, stools meant to look comfortable but are not, many empty bottles that used to contain flavors or syrups, coffee and tea alike (not much is left).
This realm was meant to be temporary, but so many years have passed. "How long has it been? I can't even remember how old we are... Maybe she was right to leave, things are getting strange here".
Stasia has gotten good at drowning it out, but the voice- The Nanites that is- are still there... she fails to realize that they still have influence on her thoughts.

#Aeloria reached out of the pocket dimension, confused from the events with #Stasia and tired of isolation. Greeted by a warm lingering grip, (and the smell of... paper? No....). Out of nothingness and into an unfamiliar place... (these must be bookshelves?). The grip ono her hand loosens as she catches her footing. She focused her eyes, realizing a girl is there: standing straight, possessing long black hair with orange-red undertones. Her mosaic-like cyberware stands on end-
