67 schools, countless ideas, and one unforgettable day! Sindh’s biggest #STEAMMuqablo in #Korangi brought together students to solve real-world challenges with extraordinary creativity.
The projects showcased the brilliance of young minds, from xylophones crafted from repurposed steel plates to a rain-stick musical instrument using beans, rice, and pulses. One standout design from #Floatyourboat even used a conveyor belt net to clean the sea as the boat moved—true innovation at its finest!
Afshan Naz, the Korangi STEAM focal person, commented, 'Our students are no longer satisfied with passive teaching—they want to understand practically!' Meanwhile, Dr Fouzia Khan, Chief Executive Advisor at School Education & Literacy Department, expressed her excitement, saying, 'The energy and impact we witnessed today were incredible!'

Students in #Hyderabad went above and beyond at the #STEAMMuqablo, presenting 247 innovative models that ranged from floating devices made from coconut leaves and plastic bottles to musical instruments crafted from old keys and spoons. One creative solution even tackled flood management using boats designed with wild grass!
Deputy Director Asma Bhatti highlighted, 'Some children don’t learn by studying, but by using such platforms. This helps bring problematic, uninterested, or silent children to the mainstream.'
The event showed how hands-on learning sparks creativity and independent thinking.
We’re proud to see this initiative featured in The Nation!
