Another Super Tanker Hits a Mine in Strait of Hormuz This is the SECOND TANKER this week. I thought Trump said they were ALL CLEARED? Seems like he risked their safety to lower oil prices Statement by The IRGC Navy: This afternoon, a rogue supertanker collided with a sea mine in the southern part of the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in an explosion and fire in the engine room. The ship, carrying crude oil and intending to exit the Strait of Hormuz, had turned off all its navigation systems and violated the regulations of the Strait. As a result of deviating from the authorized route, it suffered this accident. This is the third rogue oil tanker since yesterday that has collided with sea mines while traveling on an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in a fire. The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announces: All ships within the Strait of Hormuz that turn off their navigation and identification systems will be considered hostile and will be dealt with severely and decisively.
