ALSO friends going to SWCLA just know that there are very limited food options surrounding the LA Convention Center,, and the ones that are there (Yard House, Lazy Dog, etc) get extremely crowded post-convention as they’re also connected to a concert arena-

Yes! My recommendation for those visiting #SWCLA . Where to stay and possibly find affordable hotel prices. When I mean affordable, I mean you won’t get those spiked prices because of events. But you will need a Car.
If you plan on going to Disneyland while visiting. Best bet is to stay somewhere between LA and Anaheim (Disneyland).
Highlighted in BLUE are the main freeways to get to LA, LAX, and Anaheim with plenty of affordable hotels along the freeways.
Highlighted in yellow are cities I recommend staying in with plenty of affordable hotels and Airbnb.
My recommendation is to stay in Downtown Long Beach. You have Long Beach Airport. Which Southwest operates out of. Might cost a little more but it avoids the LAX headache and traffic. Freeways to get to LA and Disneyland are easy to access. It’s right along the beach and plenty of fun things to do.
Seriously on the verge of tears all day today.

One thing I think is really crazy about how fast #SWCLA tickets sold out is, I wonder how much merch they managed to sell... most people today were desperate to get anything and rushed through the ticket process buying little to no merch for fear of losing the tickets they had.
Right now I'm on the queue ticket sale screen and it's 100% sold out. Which means I can't select any tickets to buy, thus no way to get any more merch at all!
I was going to post that kids Thursday and Friday are still for sale, however while I was in the ticket selection screen I refreshed and see only Kids Friday is available now... #SWCLA.
