Following complaints received about motorists not obeying No Entry signs at Juniper Green Primary School, officers carried out patrols during school drop off time. They engaged with drivers and some warnings were issued as a result. #SWCPT #CommunityPolicing

Views on Foot Patrol. 10 1/2 miles walked by PS Coull and PC Goodall along Union Canal and around Harrison Park this evening following complaints of antisocial behaviour and violence in the area. Two males searched for drugs but all quiet otherwise.

Views on Foot Patrol. A good walk round Wester Hailes, Westburn, the Calders and Sighthill tonight. Engaging with the locals, except one young lad who sped off along the canal path on a bike when seeing us. Done something wrong? Stolen bike?

Excellent work from SWCPT on foot patrol in Gorgie Road. On smelling drugs, male was stopped, searched and found in possession of quantity of cannabis and a knife. Drugs and knife seized, male arrested and appearing at court at a later date.

Following complaints from local residents, SWCPT carried out a speed check today in Pentland View. 36 vehicles checked with an average speed of 18.5 mph. One driver warned. Please let us know if you are concerned about speeding vehicles in your area.
