She is still loyal and still caring enough to save someone she wasn't even particularly close to, just someone she knew back from the Colossus and who we know, and she knows, is openly venal and self-serving. #SWRSpoiler

I'm amazed that they gave Tam another one of Finn's major beats (from #BeforetheAwakening this time), yet it stands on its own because loyalty & caring are such a major part of Tam's story. She left Kaz & the Colossus precisely because her own loyalty was betrayed. #SWRSpoiler

It's kinda nice that the team competition Yeager had planned became derailed into their all having to work together to save their leader. It's a nice counterpoint to the idea of teammates have to compete with and beat each other to get better. #SWRSpoiler

Finally we get to see Tam fly, and shine! Much as I hate the FO I hope Yeager and Kaz, and also Hype, come to BITTERLY rue treating Tam's talents and aspirations like trash, and all but pushing her into the FO's arms with their lies and disregard. 😡 #SWRspoiler

It is also an obvious contrast to the cooperative team approach that Yeager & Kaz are teaching the Aces. In the FO way there is only superiority and hierarchy, with little room for cooperation and teamwork. #SWRspoiler

The way the FO pits its pilots against each other was foreshadowed by the former Imperial pilot's comments, and is consistent with the Empire's philosophy shown in #InfernoSquad. That in turn has its roots in the social Darwinist philosophy of Nazis & Hitler. #SWRspoiler
