I did 2 weeks work exp in Puffin Editorial, discovered Production, applied for the Childrenβs Production Assistant role going at the time & the rest is history! πβ¨

Like everyone else, I only knew about editorial as a role in publishing.
I got my βinβ as a PA in the UK sales team and loved it, now I work in international sales and love it even more. #SYPInto

I went to the @SYP_LDN conference thinking about editorial and learned about agenting and rights - listening to @CCampbell_Agent talk about them really sold it for me!
If youβre considering publishing, attend events on all areas of the industry because you never know!

While you go through this thread, please consider why you favour one branch to the other and why exactly do we have such strong demand for editorial. I came in looking for jobs in editorial too but so much more happier working in marketing in academic. You never know! Be open :)
