Singlehandedly @TheNotARubicon has decimated the Sad Ham population. His ruthless carpet bombing campaign and relentless taunts have rendered indiscriminate damage on Sad Hams world-wide. Most of these Sad Hams were children in hospitals, raising concerns that a single humans should never posses this kind of destructive power.

If you're operating on a licensed band without a license you will eventually get caught. A lot of us ham operators love and I repeat love to do a fox hunt. We practice them regularly too. Most every Club does. You ought to read about some of the prison sentences and fines. There are three radio bands that are license free. How about we behave legally and ethically?

Last night,l was listening to the Tar Heal net, and I heard a guy get on a repeater in the hurricane effected area. I heard some Ham ops tell him he couldn't talk on the repeater without a license. Luckily, another Op chimed in and said he could chat during an emergency and kind of kicked these prepper sad hams down a peg. The FCC is NOT going to give a crap about a dude talking when all the cells and power are out. It probably brought that guy comfort even if he was prepared and ok. They could have said hey when this is over, I'll help you get your license, but we can chat during the disaster." This gate keeping during an emergency is a huge issue.
