The current situation in Balochistan is truly alarming, and from a human rights perspective, the biggest concern is highlighting the real issues facing Baloch society: lack of peace, lack of development, and above all, the safety of Baloch daughters, sisters, and mothers. The people of Balochistan demand their rights: the right to education, the right to healthcare, the right to employment, and most importantly, the right to live in peace. Yet sadly, some elements are taking a path in the name of "rights" that is further destroying Baloch society.The Majid Brigade of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has adopted a dangerous strategy of using Baloch women in terrorism. Educated women—who are school teachers, university students, mothers—are being brainwashed and pushed into the abyss of death. Shari Baloch, who held a master's degree and was the mother of two children, became a suicide bomber in the Karachi University attack. Sumaiya Qalandarani, Mahal Baloch, Mehikan Baloch all educated women who fell victim to BLA and became fuel for suicide attacks. Now, even pregnant women are being used as facilitators to transport young girls, as seen in the recent Kech case involving Hani Dilwash and Khairun Nisa.All of this is a great tragedy for Baloch society. In Baloch traditions, respect for women comes first she is the honor of the home, the blessing of society. But when daughters start receiving training for death instead of going to school and college, it poses the greatest threat to Balochistan's future. The true meaning of human rights is that every Baloch child, boy or girl, should go to school, get a job, and live a prosperous life not be destroyed in explosions.Balochistan needs real rights: opportunities from CPEC, new schools and hospitals, job projects, and above all, peace. Until terrorism is eliminated, neither education will flourish, nor development will come, nor will Baloch daughters remain safe. We must keep our daughters alive, educate them, and help them move forward not turn them into weapons of death.The people of Balochistan want peace, progress, and a bright future for their daughters. This is the true struggle for human rights.
