The more that I’m learning about world cultures and history, the more frustrating it is that the World History of my student years were so watered down and nonexistent. Truly thankful for art that inspires deeper cultural learning and understanding, even for adults.

AP World was not broken. The course is a beast and it’s not easy to teach, but the remedy is more training, more resources, and more stability with the exam. Chill out and let teachers be teachers. #saveapworld
What @CollegeBoard announced today absolutely does not #saveapworld. Starting at 1200 instead of 1450 still leaves out the majority of human history. Context doesn’t work in parts.
Off the top of my head I would have made Foundational World History be eras 1-4 (study of autocracies) and Modern World History era 5-6 (fighting against autocracies). Allows you to really dig into all regions and be more topical. Thoughts @highlevhistory? #saveapworld #apworld
