I know the powers that be *won't* listen to the fans, but they should.
When you inherently make every game less meaningful, the fans notice.
And it's going to get worse when they inevitably expand to a 24-team playoff and teams can take 3-4 losses and still get to the playoff
When losing a regular season game no longer feels like getting shot through the heart we’ve lost the essence of what makes college football the best sport in the world
Load management games.
Resting starters.
Decreased stakes.
Decreased urgency.
Diluted regular season.
Allowing a ton of losses.
Conference championships gone.
Bowl games gone.
They’re going to jam 18 SEC/B1G teams in.
A 7-5 SEC team will get in at some point guaranteed at the expense of an 8-4 or 9-3 small brand.
🔥 24-team Playoff 🔥
Anyone pushing this hates College Football.
This is exactly right. The playoff is becoming the season... the season won't mean nearly as much except seeding.

News flash: expanding the playoff won’t help instead it will turn CFB into CBB where people can tune in for the final month rather than every single Saturday
I can’t fathom the fact that we had a PERFECT sport, and the best system we could have had (the BCS) for determining CFB champions, and ESPN and the powers that be just completely obliterated it.
Just constant chaos and confusion. All for what? TV dollars.
It’s not fun anymore
@SportyMcSports Disagree. waters it all down and makes games mean less because they don't cost teams anything to lose them.

@JohnMassingale4 Disagree. The Saturday slate matters because what is at state. If you can lose 3-4 games and still be in contention, each Saturday matters way less.

I’ve said it before and will say it again. The people pushing for an expanded playoff don’t actually like College Football.
They like other sports, and want to make CFB like those.
It’s in every single comment section: “But the NBA does it!” “But you can lose several games in the NFL and you’re not eliminated!” “But March Madness has Cinderellas!”
That’s fine. Go watch those then. College Football doesn’t have to become like everything else.
It’s okay for things to be unique & separate and not function the same.

I know you are in a tough spot.... & maybe I'm wrong, but I can't believe you think a 24 team playoff is a good idea.
We don't need CFB to be NFL-lite.
Speak out and help us save what is dear to us!

ESPN should have absolutely no influence on college football’s playoff format. This sport has become completely illegitimate.
No one wants this. Meaningless regular season games & undeserving teams competing for a Championship.
Money & Greed have unfortunately won again.

12 is too many....but here we are.
Please don't force 24 on us.

I can’t believe it’s been nearly a decade…What do you think? Do you think I miss drinking on OSU game day? Or am I over it?

@LAGovJeffLandry Kick LSU out of the #SEC. Bring in @ClemsonFB - You can't have schools going rogue and going to judges friendly to their state, which everyone knows has a pretty backwards legal system. #SaveCollegeFootball
@GregSankey what are we waiting on here? Time to end the madness and save the college football season from blowing off the tracks before the season even begins.

For the love of Saturdays, please do not let this happen 🙏🏈🙏 #savecollegefootball
College football is considering moving the playoffs from 12 teams to 28.
They are destroying this sport.
I do not fuck with politics at all, but this right here is great for the sport ! #savecollegefootball
