🆘🆘 FLUFFY (ID 238335 ), 12 YO, MALE– IN QUEENS ACC - came into the shelter as an aco - owner surrender on 10/2/2025, with the surrender reason stated as animal behavior - aggressive towards people. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿 ➡️TBD 10/25/25 ➡️ NEW HOPE RESCUE PARTNER ONLY ➡️ SENIOR ALERT ➡️ MEDICAL PRIORITY – NEEDS MORE CARE AND ATTENTION THAN THE SHELTER CAN PROVIDE ➡️ TOO LOW ON PLEDGES TO STIMULATE RESCUE INTEREST ➡️🆘🆘 4TH Chance on Emergency Placement List – BEYOND URGENT - NO ROOM IN SHELTER – WILL NOT BE GIVEN MUCH MORE TIME – VERY HIGH EU/SILENT KILL RISK – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱 ➡️ 22 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT ➡️ FLUFFY IS ON THE EPL FOR MEDICAL AND BEHAVIORAL REASONS – Fluffy is a geriatric cat with constipation and poor appetite. He has lost a significant amount of weight since entering the shelter and has to be sedated for examinations. He has had feces manually removed twice in shelter and will need continued care with placement. POOR APPETITE/EATINGS ISSUES ARE A DEATH SENTENCE IN SHELTER. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Fluffy is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. He/she has tried to swat / scratch / bite / is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling.
