Oreo is only one year old β still a baby, still learning the world β and yet heβs already discovered the hardest truth a dog can learn:
sometimes the people you think you belong to⦠never come back for you.
He was found as a stray on 10/20 with a chip, which should have meant safety.
It should have meant someone loved him enough to claim him.
But the shelter called, and called, and calledβ¦
and no one answered.
Now Oreo sits behind kennel bars trying to understand why the world went quiet.
Why the humans who bought him treats and fitted him with a chip have simply vanished.
And while he waits, he has been placed AT RISK for TB on 11/26.
A chipped puppy β alone, confused, and out of time.
Oreo loves walks.
He takes treats like a gentleman β cheese, bones, anything that makes him feel safe for just a moment.
Heβs good with other dogs, eager to connect, desperate to belong again.
But unless someone steps forward, this is the end of his story.
