Disabled students have had a particularly hard time studying in the pandemic. An NDP would be one of the first steps to combating the academic ableism that's pervasive in universities @AUSA_Disabled

"I feel unmotivated and incapable of doing any uni work, which is making my grades horrible. I have no access to necessary books for my dissertation which makes me anxious. NDP would mean that the Uni understands our struggles, and recognise 4 years of hard work"

"My studies have no structure and recorded classes are not engaging. Its demoralising and it's very hard to engage with studying when its so passive. A NDP would assure the work I've put into my degree wouldn't be lessened by circumstances out of my control."

"My mental health has suffered severely due to the pandemic. I am a diligent student looking to achieve high marks. A safe bet policy such as the NDP would help ease my anxiety and enable me to do that."

"My mental health is suffering and my quality of work is reflecting that. Students deserve a safety net, and to be put first. The uni, in voting against this policy, has made it crystal clear that their reputation trumps students health and well-being yet again."

"I canβt go back to Aberdeen and I have a 7 hour time difference. NDP would be a safety net in case I am disadvantaged by the time difference. I am waking up at night for practicals and I think Iβm falling behind because I don't have a regular sleep schedule"
