While other children carry their backpacks to school, Sila carries hers while trying to adapt to a body that no longer obeys her the way it once did. Even writing has become a struggle for her. Sitting for just a few minutes causes her pain, and the position of her head is not by choice—it is the result of a severe spinal injury and the delay in the surgery she urgently needs. Sila is not asking for much. She simply dreams of sitting comfortably, walking again one day, and living her childhood like any other little girl her age. Every day that passes without treatment is another day taken from her childhood. But we continue to hold on to hope and pray that the day will come when I see her standing on her own feet again. 🤍 https://t.co/OzDrS7YxF7
