I ask the weaver if he changed the yarn. He says fine, 100 count and all, then slowly says ladies complained sarees were heavy and so he switched. You cant switch back from chiffon, georgettes to cotton, and expect cotton to not be thick or heavy. #SaveHandloom #SaveTextiles

Imposing anti-dumping duty on Viscose Fibre will only harm the weavers and spinners who still struggle for access to quality raw materials. We should #Savetextiles and #Savetheweavers by not imposing such duties.@CMOTamilnadu @CMOMaharashtra
