@australian When do the big-hearted foster parents and institutions that selflessly worked so hard, and gave so much, to save such children from dysfunctional family situations get a #NationalApology? The children, too. #SavedGeneration #StolenGenerationMyth #ChildAbuse

@ellymelly It's likely what was happening during the stolen generation. It may not have been for the reasons taught at school. Seeing what is happening today to aboriginal children it's clear that there is no #StolenGeneration, they are the #SavedGeneration. They should say #ThankYou

@Anthonywodillon I really would like to be able to like #MarciaLangton, who has style, and obviously is no dummy. If she actually expressed this view of the #SavedGeneration, she would go up in my estimation. Problem is, she appears on her track record to have been a life-long subversive Commie.

@sugarsoapkid @rooney_81 @jeff_kennett #KRudd’s apology sop to the #pseudoAboriginal industry? Just another slap in the face to the numerous fine institutions and quietly heroic individuals who selflessly sought to save disadvantaged kids from dysfunctional family environments. #SavedGeneration

@nyunggai The problem—and answer to your question—is that the competent agencies now are deterred from saving Aboriginal kids from dysfunctional homes and #ChildAbuse because history shows their good intentions will be misrepresented as child-stealing. #SavedGeneration

#auspol #KRudd's apology to the mythical #StolenGeneration was as much a load of tosh as everything else in #LaborsMess. Worst of all, it deepened the slur of the slogan against the many, decent, charitable people who SAVED kids from dysfunctional parents. #SavedGeneration
