He may fight Kashima to get to Kei and even confront Kei, just to see for himself whether he is facing his real friend Kei or his nemesis Takamura, who has long been gone. I mean, Gaku will do whatever it takes as long as it allows him to get to Kei’s side. Also, how bold of Kashima. I understand his concerns, but are you really trusting Sakamoto and that (fake) promise? Because I really don’t think so. He will kill Kei. His actions and violence already speak for themselves, so there’s no need to wonder whether he intends to kill or not because, in my eyes, he’s going to kill. A retired assassin? Nah. An assassin from the start is still an assassin in the end, so he’ll throw away that no killing rule if it means killing anyone who stands in his way, even if it damages his reputation. He already said it himself after fighting Torres for the second time in the parlor games. I also understand where Kashima is coming from. However, there’s still a possibility that Sakamoto will kill Kei. At the same time, Kei has regained consciousness, so he’s back to being himself and is fighting Sakamoto nonstop, throwing punches left and right. Also, Nagumo really irks me, honestly. He’s the type of person who doesn’t change and playing his games. No wonder Oki was disappointed in him until his death, to the point of cursing him. What I see in Nagumo is arrogance without growth. He’s stagnant and unchanged. And if he’s doing this because of Akao’s death which I assume he still blames on Kei despite not knowing the full story behind everything feels very one-sided, and honestly, it disgusts me. Again Akao’s back says dismissal and farewell and that Nagumo is the problem. Using someone who is already gone just to prove himself isn’t growth; it’s showing off. Sorry, but that’s how I see his character. I honestly don’t like arrogant people. At least Shishiba showed a bit of character development, even though he disappointed me at times. Nagumo, on the other hand, is full of bloodlust. A person like him enjoys to kill, and I wonder whether he finds joy in it or simply treats it as a game because of his playful personality. Whatever the case, it still comes across as showing off, and that irks and irritates me. Shin collapsed in a dark alley. Am I expected to feel sympathy over what I consider a lame and boring fight? Seriously? Was that even a fight? Tanabata ended up fighting a character he personally find boring, so no wonder he sighed deeply. Sorry, but that wasn’t much of a fight to me. There’s still a possibility that Tenkyu might find him or something else may happen. Let’s see where it goes from there. What I see in Shin is a form of mixed martial arts combined with his psychic abilities, but I still see too much of Sakamoto in him. He relies heavily on Sakamoto whenever he doubts himself, and even if he overcomes those doubts, it doesn’t change the fact that I still see Sakamoto in him rather than Shin as his own person. I still want his past to be brought up. Why keep holding it back? Is he avoiding it? Oh boy… what a bore. I don’t know what Suzuki is planning by bringing all the remaining AL Kamar members into this battle, or is the narrative starting to lose direction and needs to be amplified somehow. Hmm… let’s see. Because if Slur’s actions are considered “wrong,” then what exactly makes his opponents completely right in the first place? At the end of the day, no one in Sakamoto’s group was ever asked to save people. They’re assassins, not heroes. I understand that they feel responsible for protecting those they see as innocent and that they choose to shoulder those burdens, but why couldn’t anyone think about Kei’s situation from a decade ago before everything spiraled out of control? Does it really make any difference from what happened to Kei in the past and what he’s doing now against the corrupted society? Honestly, I don’t see much difference at all. What people are witnessing now is the result of the unbearable pain and suffering he endured for so long. His actions are a form of judgment born from the excruciating experiences he went through and the scars that never truly healed. Now it’s too late, because nobody truly understood Kei. That’s why he became angry and unable to forgive the world for the hell he and his AL Kamar family went through. The kind of empathy needed to understand Kei’s deep pain and endless suffering is something I honestly feel nobody in Sakamoto’s group fully grasps.
