“Dear children at St. Peter’s School, Thank you for the present I received on Easter Sunday. It was one of the best gifts I have ever been given (and I am quite old)”. We have been humbled by the beautiful feedback from our #SchoolsInCommunities project with @WholeEducation

Every child has created a special Easter gift for local, elderly residents as part of our #SchoolsInCommunities project with @WholeEducation. The beautiful cards were made by Y3 and the decorated baskets from Y4. The flowers were crafted in Y5 and the palm crosses made by Y6.

Lovely feedback from our #SchoolsInCommunities project @WholeEducation. “What a wonderful surprise to be given a Christmas goodie bag with such lovely handmade gifts. I was so thrilled and very touched by your kindness – a huge thank you”. Contributions were made by every child.

In December, every child made a contribution to a gift bag, delivered to members of our church community, alone at Christmas. “Many thanks for the beautiful cards and presents you gave us to celebrate Christmas. It was very thoughtful of you”. #SchoolsInCommunities @CofEGuildford

Christmas bags, made with love by our children for local, elderly residents in isolation. Inspired by their Christmas units in RE, Year 3 illustrated the bags, Year 4 made cards, Year 5 created lanterns and Year 6 decorated uplifting verses. Gift of Giving 🎁#SchoolsinCommunities
