#ScottMuirMD is the last person our late daughter spoke to before dying by suicide (less than 1/2 hour). Her last email indicates Muir threatened her. He is coming after me, a grieving mother, not content with the harmful treatment to Mona. Not only he doesn’t regret suing me for defamation (in clear retaliation for the Negligence and Malpractice lawsuit against him & his wife) he is proud of it by telling in public: “That legal filing”
This coming from the same man who had 10+ lawsuits against him (plus lawsuits that were settled).
It is a matter of public record that the same man, Muir, was arrested and charged with 3rd degree assault with intent to cause physical injury (1 count), acting in a manner to injure a child under 17 (2 counts), assault, recklessly causing physical injury (1 count), 3rd degree menacing (1 count), and 2nd degree harassment; physical contact (1 count). Supposedly domestic violence.
What kind of a human is this person?
Justice will come.

From a renowned psychiatrist: #ScottMuirMD asking Mona to make an interview (after 5 months of starting treatment) is an abuse of power.
It is unethical, unprofessional, & it breaches the therapy. It takes it out from the privacy.
It puts the patient in an extremely uncomfortable, & difficult position, when they have to decide if they are going to participate in the interview. It’s a big NO NO ask.
Especially from someone who is vulnerable.
It’s self promotion for both doctors, the patient should not be asked to do any of that. #CarleneMac read the texts to the journalist before asking Mona (as per emails & SMS texts).
The therapist said it’s awful for both doctors not to think about the discomfort of the patient.

#ScottMuirMD & #CarleneMac, in what appears to be yet another retaliation for the negligence and malpractice case, have asked the court to grant them a Temporary Restraining Order against me, to take their posted texts down etc. In effect they are trying to take away my #FirstAmendment rights of #FreedomOfSpeech. The timing as usual, they hit me in my most vulnerable moments - we just visited Mona’s tomb again.
They named 2 reporters from @WonderyMedia in the TRO whom I believed to be their minions like others. Now that it’s clear they’re not, I will schedule an interview with Wondery to speak about Mona just like I did with @nypost .
Other reporters have also called during this past year - since they might be their minions I will wait for now.

Today we visited Mona’s tomb. It was more painful than the previous years. Our son cleaned the tomb with his tears. It broke my husband and me to see that. 2922 days since Mona took her own life after her last 4 phone conversations with #ScottMuirMD #CarleneMac, and an email that shows threats.
What did they tell Mona? We will never know. We know they lied about having spoken to Mona. On 9/26/2016 they denied having spoken to Mona (we have affidavit from someone who asked).
My eyes burn from so much crying.
The stones and shells represent the visitors who went to her tomb.

#ScottMuirMD posted this (screenshot of an excerpt of a longer letter) on October 2022, one month before the Supreme Appellate Court heard our appeal.
In it it explains why Muir is not suing me and/or others. In his post Muir also wrote “This has of course been reviewed by reputable legal council”.
Muir also posted on October 2022 the appeal would be rejected. On April 2023 the Appellate Court of the Supreme Court of New York ruled in our favor, that the case was Negligence and Malpractice. They did not reject the appeal as he had posted on October 2022.
In retaliation, 3 days later Muir sued me for #defamation. Muir served me with the lawsuit papers without an envelope a day after Mother’s Day when I was at my lowest point. Contradicting his own post.
Why?
Why sue me, a grieving and still suffering mother for allegations posted when other people have written about him in Yelp and other places in the Internet horrible things yet he has not sued them.
Why?
As an aside C.A. Goldberg never contacted us, never reviewed all the material we have, never asked us any questions yet “concluded the accusations against Dr. Muir were baseless.” After reviewing all the material we have, their own SMS texts sent to our late daughter Mona, #ForensicPsychiatrists have told us “ALL BOUNDARIES WERE DEMOLISHED.”

#ScottMuirMD , #CarleneMac, and some organization I never heard of nor mentioned have filed a retaliatory defamation lawsuit to try to stop me from getting justice for my late daughter.
They filed it 3 days after the Appellate Court ruled I had the right to sue for Negligence and Defamation.
Please note I have posted allegations, while other people with more followers, or people on platforms with millions of people have written horrible things about them and #BrooklynMinds. Not just allegations. Yet they did not file any defamation lawsuits against any of the accusations against them. Why not? Why pick me, a grieving mother, who moves forward day by day? Almost none of my followers are from NY. Most from overseas or other states.
Yet they filed a defamation lawsuit against me. It wasn’t enough to charge us exorbitant fees for Mona’s treatment; it wasn’t enough to give her a harmful treatment (how many times did they call the police with false allegations when Mona was hiding in the bathroom because Muir had “lost it” as Mona wrote to his wife, Dr. MacMillan?). When doctors need to call the police on a patient too many times something is wrong. The treatment is not working. It is like Mona texted Carlene MacMillan “for Owen to claim assault it is like jumping in front of a train and blaming it for hitting you” Muir was trying to push open the bathroom door where Mona was hiding in extreme fear.
We did not know any of this. Until after her death.

Dr. Muir had posted in October 2023 that he didn’t want to sue me, a grieving mother. Yet it is exactly what he did in retaliation after losing the Appellate Court’s case in the Supreme Court of NY. Together with his enabler wife #CarleneMac .
I believe the victim. Because my daughter was a victim and was not believed. After all people almost always believe the word of a doctor versus a young lady with OCD.

Apparently that day came in September 27, 2023 when Muir was arrested for an alleged domestic abuse, with 2 counts “endangering kids under 17” (not exact words).
I posted the court case with all the 18 counts against him.
#CarleneMac did not testify against her husband in January. A psychiatrist from Harvard, she was allegedly a victim of her husband’s domestic violence.
If Muir’s “ANGER IS DANGEROUS”, if he allegedly treats his family with domestic violence, what would stop him from allegedly r***ing our daughter, and threatening her?
Mona hanged herself after the last 4 phone conversations with them, and left an email indicating she had been threatened.
Initially both couple denied having spoken with Mona (multiple witnesses heard them in the cemetery).

I have been receiving vicious and violent threats. They coincide with holidays, posting about #CarleneMac, #ScottMuirMD from #BrooklynMinds who harmed our late daughter Mona Daniella , w/the anniversary of her death, her birthday, and other meaningful moments.
Coincidentally Dr. Muir was arrested last year on or about Mona’s anniversary for allegedly Domestic Violence. Two counts were for kids under 17.
These horrific and scary threats will be investigated. Forensic ITs will find out where they came from. Your language is unbecoming of a decent human being. Our attorneys are not incompetent. They are the finest. The courts are overwhelmed, all cases are taking longer. This is not the first threat. But this time they are direct and more abusive, and dangerous.
Whoever this is, STOP. My daughter is never again. I will fight for justice until the end. Even if it’s the last thing I do.

Mona asked her previous treaters to mail her medical records to #ScottMuirMd, as per the email below. When Mona took her own life, both doctors wrote us emails stating they didn’t have Mona’s medical notes from the previous treaters. We have reason to believe both doctors did have those records otherwise Mona wouldn’t stop asking her previous treaters until they were sent. We found no such emails.
