I’ll never forget the Assistant Head at the school I was then working at visibly squirming while delivering Prevent for the first time. Just because they’ve added in some White Supremacist case studies doesn’t stop Prevent being Islamophobic at its core. #ScrapPrevent 🙅🏼‍♀️

I can’t help but feel that the #prevent review will conclude with a few tokenistic action points, but ultimately it will strengthen the project & those most impacted will be even further silenced. #scrapprevent entirely, anything less wont solve its destructive impact.
