Update: 830+ chats this month & key learnings π
Hey everyone!
Quick update on our journey - we hit 830+ new conversations this month.
Mix of Google Ads and organic traffic, but honestly? The paid traffic quality was disappointing, even with laser-focused queries like "beach resorts Goa" or "Kedarnath hotels char dham yatra."
Plot twist: Yesterday alone brought 120+ organic chats. You folks are amazing! π
What we're tracking right now:
β’ Chats per user session
β’ Total chats per unique user
β’ User retention rates
β’ "View Deal" click-through
The real talk - issues we're tackling:
β’ π Airbnb integration - literally every user asks for this. Good news: we're seeding Airbnb properties as we speak. Public release by first week of July.
β’ π AI getting stuck in loops - our ReAct reasoning framework sometimes repeats itself. Testing fixes now.
β’ π Context window struggles - our use case demands large contexts, so we've built a smart summarization approach. Currently in testing.
β’ π¬ Information overload - yes, the "thinking" phase is verbose. But here's why we keep it:
a) Builds trust (you see how we actually work)
b) Makes our AI more accurate (chain-of-thought magic)
c) Solution: collapsible reasoning that you can expand when curious.
Strategy shift:
β Killing paid ads entirely
π€ Betting on community (that's you!)
π― Active engagement on X and Reddit where trip planning actually starts
Next release goodies:
β’ Cleaner hotel cards (more hotels per view)
β’ Share successful chats (and yes, our epic fails too π
)
β’ Custom shareable query links for social media
β’ Guest users limited to 2 chats (so we can follow up when we fix things)
The problems are real, the solutions are coming. Thanks for building with us! π
