As an institution, gender and race are pitted against one another and it ends up benefiting whiteness.
So in choosing classes for school, I have to choose between my race, my womanhood, and my Pentecostalism because there aren’t really classes that inform all three. #SeminaryWhileBlack
I am frequently asked if things have improved at @fullerseminary since #SeminaryWhileBlack and #ToxicFuller. I have always said that I was cautiously optimistic. My cautious optimism one year later is pretty much gone. Fuller is still clinging to its whiteness.
