🎉 Exciting News from the Denver National Western Roundup! 🎉 We're thrilled to announce the results from the National Western Stock Show Judging Contest! On Friday, the crew of Colton Harken, Sam Janssen, Tommy Janssen, and Kellen Reints competed at the prestigious NWSS and finished as the 6th Overall Team! 🏆 Here’s how they ranked in the team divisions: 3rd in Oral Reasons, 3rd in Goats, 5th in Cattle, 7th in Sheep, 10th in Swine The competition was truly some of the best in the country. The team takes great pride in their performance, especially in the Oral Reasons Division. One of the most difficult aspects of any judging contest; It is certainly something these guys have worked tirelessly on over the past 36 months. Their dedication truly paid off! 💪 Individual Highlights: Tommy Janssen: 7th Overall, Sam Janssen: 24th Overall, Colton Harken: 26th Overall, Kellen Reints: 55th Overall Other individual accolades in the top third of the FFA division include: Colton: 8th in Cattle, 24th in Reasons Sam: 9th in Sheep, 10th in Reasons, 12th in Goats Tommy: 6th in Reasons, 6th in Goats, 9th in Sheep, 11th in Swine, 12th in Cattle Kellen: 23rd in Goats A special shoutout to Rowdy Groen (our alternate who had competed on our American Royal team) who was ready to step in at a moment’s notice! This trip to Denver marks the end of an incredible chapter for this home-grown group. From state successes, top finishes at contests around the country, to a 7th place finish at the American Royal in 2023, and now this top ranking at the National Western - their journey has been nothing short of historic! 🌟 We’re so grateful to all who supported us along the way!
